Our Finance team is growing, and we are looking for an Accountant to join us on our journey! 

An Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with reporting standards and internal procedures. Key duties include controlling accounts and accurately allocating costs, managing month-end and year-end closing activities, supporting tax reporting, and handling intercompany invoicing. The role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports, assisting in the preparation of annual and management accounts, and supporting audit processes.

Your day-to-day

  • Control of accounts, ensuring costs are splitted accurately;
  • Preparing, examining accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards;
  • Month-end and year-end activities;
  • Invoicing between group companies;
  • Tax reports support;
  • Communication with internal stakeholders;
  • Assisting the senior accountant in preparation of annual reports/management accounts and in audit procedures;
  • Ensuring that intercompany and supplier agreements are in place where necessary;
  • Identifies caps in efficiency and transparency, makes recommendations to improve processes, workflows with respect to the finance department.

Your background and mindset

  • A degree in finance, or final stages of ACCA;
  • Previous working experience in a professional environment;;
  • Excellent written and verbal English;
  • Good knowledge of accounting procedures and principles;
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Attention to details, accuracy and correctness and the ability to prioritize tasks based on the urgency;
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines;
  • Excellent time management skills;
  • Ability to adapt and adjust in a fast-paced environment;
  • Hands on personality;
  • Honesty and sense of responsibility;
  • Previous experience in iGaming is a plus.
